Add several cities during one day or fix transportation
When I stay for a few days in one city, I tend to travel to cities that are located nearby. I cannot add this neither as events (no possibility to attach them to a specified date) nor as new locations (only one city per day in calendar view and no way to solve transportation issue - both one-way and return trip set the same data :(
68 votesThanks Matey for raising that issue. We are looking at the multi-cities use-case; probably adding it as a day-trip item from the city you are staying in.

create a mobile app (iPhone/Android)
To be able to view trips offline, get maps from current location, access flight/car rental info, etc.

We’re looking into this. When you say total cost of the trip, you’re thinking transport + hotel only?
Thanks,

Allow for public transport in travel options
trains and buses in Europe should be reasonably easy to add for example.
Also public transport options within a city to go from one place to another (metro/bus lines etc..)

add google driving directions
it would be great to use this to plan road trips. Put in 2 locations, get the driving directions and recommendations of things to see on the way

Put the activities in the itinerary
Being able to put the activities such as hotels, bars, events, etc. in the schedule of travel and possible relocation in accordance with the day's activities. This could generate a summary divided by day and with the listing of activities related to each.

allow users to build a trip by dragging mouse from one point to another on the map view
instead of searching for a city to be able to add it, I'd like to click on a city on a map, then drag (or click on city #2) and Kukunu will link these two as item 1 and 2 on my itinerary.

optimize for a one city trip
I'm going to a single city, I would like to store a planning of what I'm going to do and when, take notes of places I woud like to visit (for planning them later), organize the order of the visit on a map...
12 votesThere is indeed a multi-city focus but we’ll look into improving per-city planning. In the meantime, you can click on the tab corresponding to your city and plan hotels, activities and sights to visit. We’re working on a new experience that should improve all that.

add selected flights with one click, allow to vote on options, indicate whether booked or not yet
when sent to kayak, allow to chose interesting flight options and add them to itinerary. Allow other trip participants to state their preference for the different options, and keep track of what tickets have already been booked or not

More options for local currency (local currency)
I am Brazilian and I travel to Latin America, but I have Kukunu in the currencies of our countries (U.S. $ Real, Argentine Peso and others). I would also insert these coins at the time of calculation of hostels.

would show total distance covered.
Nice statistical tool, not difficult to implement.

search results with no images - show google maps location instead of blank image
When searching and the results are not in Kukunus database, a blank image is shown. Instead, show google maps location of the result.
